hi my name is melissa and i am in desperate need of help. i am recently divorced due my husbands cheating, when he left me on june 7,2011 he left me 7 miles in the middle of the woods where we lived with no momey,food or transportation, he also left me here with an 11 year old disablied child, we have since divorced but he will not agree on the property, with the west virginia winter rapidly approaching i am in desperate need of transportation, i have looked into state programs but most require i receive a monthly check from dhhr, which i am trying to avoid. please if anyone knows of any grants that could help me out please let me know thank you for your time.
